We accept children ages 2 to 5 years old.

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Children may attend up to 10 hours per day.

Yes! We offer Full-Time, School-Time, Part-Time, and After-Care options to meet your schedule.

Maya Montessori is a home-based preschool that meets all state requirements and is actively pursuing full licensing. We expect full approval by June 2025 and are committed to exceeding safety and care standards every step of the way.

Documents & Tuition

Start by scheduling a tour. If it feels like the right fit, we’ll provide your enrollment forms and checklist.

Yes. A $250 holding fee and $50 enrollment fee are due to reserve a spot. The holding fee is non-refundable.

We accept cash, Zelle, check, or debit (no credit cards at this time).

Daily Life & Care

Children engage in Montessori work cycles, outdoor play, meals, naps, art, and enrichment. View a sample schedule.

Families may bring nut-free meals or opt into our catered meal plan for a small monthly fee.

We ask that personal toys stay at home unless specifically approved to avoid distractions and loss.

Once your child shows signs of readiness and you've begun the process at home, we’ll partner with you to support consistent potty training routines at school. We're here to make it a smooth, stress-free experience for everyone.

Very minimally—under 20 minutes per day, always educational, and with parent permission.

Health, Safety & Behavior

Children must stay home if sick. They may return after 24 symptom-free hours (fever, vomiting, diarrhea). Doctor's note may be required.

We use gentle, respectful guidance in line with Montessori values—modeling positive behavior, giving choices, and supporting self-regulation.

Minor injuries are treated onsite and shared with you at pickup. For anything serious, you’ll be notified immediately and emergency care will be provided if needed.

Yes! We have an open-door policy and optional camera access for subscribed families.

Emergencies & Closures

Yes, We follow Prosper ISD’s closure decisions and observe a regular holiday schedule. You'll receive alerts via test or WhatsApp. View our Annual Calendar.

We have a written emergency preparedness plan and conduct fire drills regularly. For your child’s safety, we ask that all emergency contacts are kept up to date. This ensures we can reach the right people quickly in the event of an emergency.
